Views on the Integration of Second-Generation Muslims Vary in Europe and North America

The Transatlantic Trends: Immigration 2010 Report has discovered that views on the integration of second-generation Muslims vary in Europe and North America. The integration of the children of Muslim migrants was viewed favorably in Canada (66%), the United States (62%), Italy (60%), the U.K. (59%), and the Netherlands (56%). Respondents in France were split, with 50% answering likewise, while respondents in Spain (42%) and Germany (36%) indicated that second-generation Muslims were not integrating well.
